Yes for me its a responsibility to manage Nick Jones heritage for us, our users and his family.For me this responsibility comes with a strong bult-in moral compass and guidelines that can not be taught or refered by paragraphs in documents, it must be learned by experience.
I know that some people have their expectations high while others are are thinking doh!This is natural, i am conservative, hopefully you will all learn that iam not conservative in a bad way.Nick had a concept he called KISS, wich equals Keep It Simple Stupid, we all need to remember that in everything we do.
Developers here have a certain responsibility to not go haywire with their codes, that is also why we need to have certain proccedures of things wich will be clarified soon.
I am very happy to see the progress of V8, the V8 team have done alot despite the absence of MT and senior developers. We are all to blame.
I will get my self up to date and give my full input once i have seen everything and tested things out.
We all also need to remember that PHP-Fusion are for the users visiting PHP-Fusion sites wich are chosen by Webmasters all over the world with various degrees of code understanding.
And i will remember that to whom much has been given, much will be expected!

it's true. MT and senior developers
seem prisoners in the V7 world!
sometimes my mind gets confused.
do something for V8, but don't for PHP-Fusion?!!

I hope we can strenghten your fine ranks here.
You know how it is.
No cars without wheels, ( altho i hope we get em soon )
No gardens without trees or flowers.
No flying birds without wings.
etc.
So we endup with no solid structure without some sort of management.
I wont overdo anything, nothing takes away all your hardwork from you.
But please dont take the hardwork away from everyone who have worked for V6, V7 either.
It is because of them you are here.
We have a common goal to reach, sometimes with differant reasons but thats less important.
This requires a team effort based on censensus of the majority and with some basic principles in mind.
This is where MT comes in - To sort all that out with a goal to please as many as possible!
I really wish for you providing us with an operative and energetic development environment soon with all your efforts...
We all want to see PHP-Fusion fulfilling people's expectations all over the world. So we must take actions regarding that.
Being you a PM, we expect a deep consideration regarding development of Version 8 and so on...
